The Royal Billiards Room

One of the oldest facilities in the club, the Billiards Room dates back to the origin of the building. Originally on the ground floor, it was relocated to the first floor in the 1990s. It houses three elegantly crafted billiards/snooker tables. Member access is from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with dependents allowed on Table No. 2 in the afternoon. Notably, Arjuna Awardee Mr. Alok Kumar graced this hall during an invitational tournament hosted in 2010.

Fountain of Health – The RGMC Gym

Equipped with world-class machines from top international brands, the RGMC gym is a state-of-the-art fitness destination. With expert trainers guiding personalized workout plans, members enjoy a vibrant, health-focused environment. Open to both young and old, the gym promises wellness with style at unmatched affordability.

Morning: 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Evening: 4:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

The Jogging Track

Laid out in the 1990s, this 750-meter track meanders through a scenic stretch of flowering trees like Gulmohar, Amaltas, Chakrasia, Silver Oak, and Silver Palm. Recently enhanced with piped music, it’s a serene escape for joggers and nature lovers alike.

Badminton Hall

Constructed in 2001 under the guidance of Chief National Coach Mr. T.P.S. Puri and International player Mr. Vinod Vatrana, the hall features two wooden-floored courts built to international standards. Coaching for children is offered during designated hours. The facility was inaugurated by Asian Champion Mr. Dinesh Khanna on 27th May 2001.

Evening: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Table Tennis Hall

A modern facility added in 2012 in memory of Dr. Bipin Saronwala, this air-conditioned hall features synthetic flooring and top-tier equipment. It was inaugurated with a match featuring International star Mr. Kamlesh Mehta and other national players.

Morning: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Evening: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Volleyball Courts

Introduced in 2005 at the request of members, the volleyball facility now boasts two outdoor courts with proper fencing. It remains a true test of fitness and team spirit.
Timings:
Morning: 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Evening: 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Lawn Tennis

Why go to Roland Garros when RGMC’s red clay courts bring the same charm? Tennis has been a part of RGMC since its inception, evolving from eight grass courts to the current mix of three gravel and four red clay courts (added in 2004). These floodlit courts regularly host inter-club and national tournaments. Regular coaching has helped many young talents reach national-level play.

Evening: 3:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The Bridge Room

Open from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (extendable by one hour with a nominal fee), this room is a favourite for Rummy and Bridge enthusiasts. Games are conducted as per official rules, with low stakes only. A popular retreat for senior members seeking relaxation and camaraderie.

Swimming Pool

A colonial-era legacy, the swimming pool is among the club’s oldest features. Renovated in the 1980s, it now includes a children’s pool and, since 2013, a compact poolside gym. On a summer day, it welcomes over 300 members.

Evening: 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Squash Court

Built in the 1890s under the patronage of Maharaja Rajindra Singh Ji, this is one of Indias oldest squash courts. Crafted by artisans from Peking (China), it has hosted several national and international players.

Morning: 5:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Evening: 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

General Rules and Guidelines

• All sports facilities remain closed on Mondays.

• Proper sports attire is mandatory.

• Certified coaches are available and also act as facility supervisors.

• Consumption of hard drinks or full meals is prohibited in sports zones.

• Regular charges: ?500–?600 per month (guest charges apply as per club policy).
